The natural Lake Yliki (9th largest in Greece) is located in Eastern Central Greece, in the prefecture of Viotia. Yliki operates as an auxiliary drinking water supply for Athens. Max capacity of Lake = 600 million m^3; Average inflow into lake = 300 million m^3/year; Average outflow from lake = 113 million m^3/year; Industries using the water of Yliki Lake; Lake area at overflow = 24.5 km^2
